Hi there! Welcome and thank you for visiting my blog. :)
Im Jel, a licensed and registered Filipina Interior Designer photography enthusiast and basically, an artistically-inclined person.
This blog is my design journal and portfolio featuring photographs I took, my different projects and creative endeavors, conceptual sketches, and the occasional quote, video or audio post I want to share.

An intimate family gathering of 40 guests for an island-themed birthday celebration was held in a private residence last March 3, 2012 and PURDY was invited to style the event!
The concept was the TV show “SURVIVOR” which complemented the existing style of the residence; a lush landscape of tropical greenery, a “body” of water, views of star-lit night skies and the rustic elements of wood, brick and stone. To evoke the atmosphere of being on an island, minimal decorations were used and there was conscious deviation from “sophisticated” materials, thus, with proliferation of rough finishes, indigenous materials and natural foliage.
This was our first event styling project and the entire PURDY team was hands-on with the whole process of planning and styling the event because we highly value the craftsmanship of each detail. That being said, our team was fully-gratified when we saw the outcome.

”..but I don’t know what your favorite color is?”, he says.
A smile creeps onto my lips “Green. What’s yours?”
“Orange,” he says.
“Orange? Like Effie’s hair?” I say.
“A bit more muted,” he says. “More like…sunset.”

the korean story of the little mermaid is that she must kill the prince in order to be human, and instead in the end, she loves him too much and kills herself instead.
